I created the first two banners for a Marketing assignment, as part of our Communications module in our second year. We were required to market someone else’s portfolio site, so I chose Rob Beaney’s ‘From the Ashes’ site. It was important for me to talk to Rob too see what he wanted, as well as analysing the site itself. I created a series of banners ads, a static banner, a Flash banner and an interactive banner. I decided to use the same fonts and colours that Rob used in his site to maintain a consistent brand.

I produced the second banner on my placement at Dunwoody. I was given the design and I had to build it in Flash. I particularly like how the stars twinkle making the banner more noticeable.
