Again this is another freelance job I took on, which I enjoyed building. I came up with a few designs for this site, but they wanted to stay away from the ‘corporate look’ so I decided to include more images of the animals and incorporate this into the logo as well. There was a lot of content to this site, so I categorised the information and built a secondary navigation down the left hand side to break it up. I particularly like the ‘tabbed’ style navigation at the top as its slightly different to most of my other websites. Similarly to the Athena site I used Lightbox to build a gallery of the animals, which I think works extremely well and gives the user a real incentive to look through the site.
